BIO

Kevin is one of the founding partners of TLGGR, and has served as its Managing Partner since 2001. Kevin’s commercial litigation and transactional practice focuses on Construction and Surety Law. He represents clients in every facet of the construction industry, including owners, developers, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and sureties, and in all aspects of the industry from contract negotiations through construction administration, claims, mediation, arbitration and litigation.

Unique and challenging cases are Kevin’s specialty. If the circumstances are complicated and a successful resolution seems out of reach, then it is a matter for Kevin. During the last thirty years Kevin has represented many high-profile clients and has managed many complex matters involving the prosecution and defense of construction claims in excess of $1 Billion Dollars. These claims involved matters in the United States, Europe, Central America, Africa and Asia.

Kevin has successfully mediated, arbitrated and litigated matters involving wrongful termination, delays, acceleration, loss of productivity, constructability, design errors, defective work, scope disputes, change orders, payment, mechanics’ liens, and performance and payment bond disputes, in a variety of jurisdictions, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, and the World Bank.

Many of these matters involved disputes with more than ten million “project records” and project durations greater than five years. Some of these litigations lasted more than fifteen years, had more than one hundred depositions, or had jury trials lasting longer than six weeks. His projects include airports, bridges, high-rise abatement and demolition, prisons, high-rise construction, biology laboratories, criminal investigation laboratories, marine construction, highways, rail, health care facilities, schools, hotels, condominiums, sewage treatment plants, golf courses.
